Jess Shaw is an advocate, educator, podcast host, and writer. They have written articles for California State University, Fullerton’s Anecdote and OC Music News. They created a podcast, at work: Crestavilla’s “The Art of Living” Podcast, which they host and interview seniors, residents, and family. She has edited and published Dash, vol. 1.2, CSUF’s literary journal, ska zines, sci-fi zines, and LGBTQ+ zines.

They are queer, non-binary/gender non-conforming, polyamorous, and kind. They are educating themselves on the struggles of people of color in their communities and neighborhoods. They are a feminist, an activist, and a fighter; they are explicitly anti-racist! They believe in sex workers and their rights, they stand up for those without homes, and they support LGBTQIA2S+ people.
